I want to talk about the holiday food. I know a lot of people are worried about this time of year, and worried it will derail all their hard work and progress. But, I want to let you know, it won’t. Not if you do it properly. What I mean by that is, it’s okay to eat what you want at Thanksgiving or any of the other Holidays. If you are eating well more times than not, it’s not going to totally derail you.
Now I know everyone is different but, I am just speaking from my own experience. I don’t deny myself during the holiday meals. I come from a family of foodies! We love to cook and bake all kinds of different foods. I am not missing out on that, just because I’m afraid to eat that kind of food. It’s all about moderation. In other words eating clean more often than you eat badly.
So enjoy the holiday treats. Just be sure to jump right back to clean eating. Don’t use the holidays as an excuse to totally fall off the clean eating wagon. You will actually bounce back a lot better than you think. Keep up your exercise program as much as you can as well.
